Don’t forget to check out the Markets in and around Hobart when visiting. Salamanca Market runs every Saturday from 8.30 – 3.00 and is a must do in Hobart. We have 2 Farm Gate markets running of a weekend starting on Saturday morning at Bellerive Boardwalk and Sunday morning on the corner of Melville and Elizabeth Streets in the city centre. The Farm Gate markets are a great place to pick up fresh locally grown Tasmanian produce. Strawberries, rasberries, pototoes, fresh bread, cakes, sushi and plenty more grab a cup of coffee and enjoy the delights Tasmania has to offer. The Bream Creek Farmers market is on the first Sunday of every month 9.00 – 1.oo and is an ideal stop off on the way to Port Arthur. We are also very excited as we wait for the first night market to kick off in Sandy Bay in early January.
